Lyst Index Q3 2026: Prada Takes the Top Spot Again

The latest Lyst Index is out, and it shows which luxury brands shoppers around the world are chasing right now. The big headline: Prada is back at number one, while Celine and Dries Van Noten are also riding high.

Prada Reclaims the Crown

Prada jumped as many as five places to reach first position for the first time since Q4 2023. Demand rose 55% in the quarter (July to September). Its Wish Silk Duchesse Pouch was also the hottest product of Q3 2026, with demand up almost 500% since Q2. It is proof that shoppers will pay a lot for a simple item if it carries the right label.

Sister brand Miu Miu slipped one place to third, and the group’s results showed its sales dipping 3% in Q3. Third place is hardly a disaster, though.

Celine and Dries Van Noten Make Moves

Celine also climbed five places and entered the top 10 for the first time, at number 10. A sell-out Reebok collaboration and a well-reviewed menswear show helped, with menswear demand up 62% year on year. Michael Rider’s influence at the brand is clearly being felt.

Dries Van Noten debuted at number 16, with demand up 27% on the previous quarter. Anyone worried about the label losing steam after its founder stepped down and Julian Klausner took over can relax. Its Long Wrap Scarf-Skirt was the fifth-hottest product of the quarter.

The Rest of the Top 10

Chanel dropped one place to second, and Gucci rose one to fourth. Saint Laurent fell to fifth, Dior slid three places to sixth, and Burberry gained one at seventh. Ralph Lauren was eighth and Chloé rose two to ninth.

Outside the top 10, Bottega Veneta jumped three places to 11, with demand up 66% after excitement around Louise Trotter’s first collection. Diesel re-entered the list at 18 after a viral show, and Khaite debuted at 20, helped by its Danielle Jeans and an Oliver Peoples eyewear collaboration.

Brands Moving Fast

Lyst also named three fast risers. Conner Ives, known for reworking vintage T-shirts, saw searches rise 49%, boosted by fans like Kate Moss and Hailey Bieber. Emily Dawn Long’s demand grew 17%, and Copenhagen label Mfpen rose 37% around its 10th anniversary and a New Balance collaboration.

The Hottest Products

Accessories and footwear dominated. Cos took second place with its Trullo Flap Bag, and slouchy top-handle bags were the shape of the summer. The Celine and Reebok sneaker came third, followed by the Vans Premium Authentic, where demand is up 29%. Chanel’s Ballet Flats took ninth, and Cartier’s Tank Watch became the first watch on the list since 2021, with demand up 83%.

What the Lyst Index Tells Us

Lyst says the brands gaining ground are those with a distinctive look. In other words, fashion sells an idea as much as an item.
